About Kate

I've always been fascinated by stories, whether they're found in the pages of a book, on a screen, or buried somewhere in the history of the world around us.

I'm a curious person by nature, drawn to history, mythology, human behaviour, and the relationships that shape our lives. I enjoy asking questions, exploring different perspectives, and occasionally disappearing down a research rabbit hole that began with something entirely unrelated.

Writing has become one of the ways I make sense of that curiosity.

My creative interests take me in different directions. Sometimes I'm exploring Scottish history and the people who lived through it. Other times, I'm examining the characters, relationships, and ideas behind the fictional worlds that have captured my imagination. And somewhere in between, I'm learning new skills, experimenting with technology, and building spaces for those ideas to grow.
